In the spirit of Valentine’s Day and the month of February I’ve decided to post the Love stories of some of our favorite Hollywood couples. However, I realized it wouldn’t be fair to just post just my favorites. So this month I’m asking for you to tell me who your favorite Old Hollywood couple is?
You can send your answers to my ask box, I’m excited to hear your answers! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Everything you see I owe to spaghetti.

The 1942 film, The Pride of the Yankees, portrayed the life of the famous baseball player, Lou Gehrig. It was made just two years after Gehrig’s death and had the appearance of many of Gehrig’s teammates along with Gary Cooper playing Lou, Teresa Wright playing Gehrig’s wife, Eleanor, and Walter Brennan as Sam Blake.

For the Film, the real Mrs. Gehrig brought to the set a one-of-a-kind bracelet made from the metals commemorating the World Championships and All-Star Games that Lou Gehrig appeared in. It was given to her by her husband for their fourth anniversary and she let it be used for the film.

In August of 2011, there was a collection of Lou Gehrig items found and brought to light that Gehrig’s mother, Christina Gehrig, had passed down to an ex-girlfriend of Gehrig’s and was being put up for sale in Chicago. It is expect to sell for millions.
